Off-Line Preparation Page

This page is for creating the material which will go on the Home Page Text widget covering current events. Create what you want to appear on the widget here using the “Visual” view tab above. Preview it using the Preview button in the upper right corner of this page. Once you are satisfied with what you have, switch to the “Text” view tab above, and carefully copy only the new material you have created (do not copy this text). Click the blue button to the right (it will either say Publish or Update). Now go to the widget and paste what you copied into the widget. You will still need to make some small changes. For example, creating multiple lines here will most likely insert the paragraph <p> tag for the second line and that creates an extra space between lines. You can “fix” that by going into the Text view and replacing all that extra paragraph material (it will look something like [</p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”>] )with a simple break <br/> tag. That way the second line will be tucked up under the first without the extra space.
