If you’re thinking of coming to visit us during Worship, please do. We welcome all newcomers. Dress is casual and our newly air conditioned sanctuary is comfortable all summer long. Our service is a blend of traditional and modern music and you will be able to follow the service from a video projection against a wall. If desired, younger children are provided with activ
ity sheets and crayons that relate to the topic each Sunday. Children join us for the first half of the service and after they have a special time of Children’s Moments in the front of the church, they are dismissed to Sunday school in the adjoining building. We have classes from Pre-K through High School with a staff of volunteer teachers who are very experienced. Please contact us (umcso.ny@gmail.com/914-245-4682) if you need Cribbery care for younger children during the service. Our seats are cushioned and pillows are available in some of the pews if you need extra support for your back. In addition, if you need a hearing device, we can also provide that for you. Our service runs for about one hour and is followed by Coffee Hour if you would like to stay and have some refreshments and visit.
Our sanctuary is accessible to people with disabilities, with reserved parking places, a wheelchair ramp, elevator for wheelchairs and those who have difficulty climbing stairs, and special wheelchair areas in the pews.
